Random audit by the Board; keep official Certificates of Attendance (sponsor, attendee, course title/date, hours, authenticating signature, PA Board approval number) for 4 years after the biennial expiration date. Do not submit certificates unless selected for audit.

Pennsylvania chiropractors must complete at least 24 hours of Board-approved CE per biennial period (licenses expire September 1 of even-numbered years). At least 2 hours each period must be Act 31 child abuse recognition and reporting training, which counts toward the 24-hour total. New licensees are exempt from CE for their first renewal period only. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action against the license.
