Reporting
Certificate(s) of completion filed together with the biennial renewal application (or before December 31 of the odd-numbered year).
Grace period
No formal grace period; per HAR 16-76-40, a license not renewed by December 31 is considered forfeited on January 31.

20 hours per 2-year cycle in board-approved programs (whole hours only, minimum 50 minutes per hour; practice-building seminars do not count). Note: a May 2026 board agenda contains a DRAFT (not adopted) amendment raising the requirement to 30 hours — the current enforceable rule is 20.
