Nevada Chiropractor (DC) CE requirements

Renewal: The renewal fee and all renewal information must be submitted to the Board on or before January 1 of each odd-numbered year (NRS 634.130(2)); the 36 hours must be completed during the 24 months immediately preceding that date. New licensees are not required to meet the CE requirement until the first odd-numbered year after the year the initial license was issued.

Nevada chiropractic physicians in active practice must complete at least 36 hours of Board-approved or -endorsed CE during the 24 months preceding renewal (NRS 634.130(3)). Holders of a dry-needling certificate must additionally complete 4 hours of dry-needling CE per biennium (adopted regulation R064-19); UNCONFIRMED: the rule does not state whether those 4 hours count within the 36-hour total or in addition to it. A license that misses the January 1 deadline expires automatically and may be reinstated by January 1 of the following even-numbered year upon payment of reinstatement plus renewal fees.
