Certify completion on the credential renewal application; retain attendance certificates for a minimum of 4 years and make them available to the Board on request.

Wisconsin requires 40 CE credit hours every 2 years. CE applies only to the period in which hours are earned (hours earned on/after Dec. 15 of an even year cure a deficit for the preceding period only). Teaching or presenting an approved course counts (1 hour per 50 minutes of instruction); the Board may grant hardship waivers or postponements.
