Maintain current national certification OR complete 50 CE hours every 2 years; if using the CE route, at least 20 of the 50 hours must be in the NP population focus/specialty with the remaining 30 at advanced-practice level. Current national certification deems the NP compliant with the 50-hour requirement. The RN license must also remain valid.
