Reporting
At each re-registration, licensees certify to the Department that they have complied with the CE requirements; CE hours may not be transferred to the next registration period.

Entry reflects the standard level: optometrists certified to use topical therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and/or agents for glaucoma and ocular hypertension (36 hours per triennial period, at least 27 live and up to 9 self-study). Optometrists certified for oral therapeutic pharmaceutical agents must complete 18 additional hours per triennial period in systemic disease with ocular involvement and related therapeutic treatments (54 hours total). Personal-development, marketing, and business-practice courses do not qualify. Exemptions apply for licensees not engaged in practice; adjustments for good cause; a conditional registration for a CE deficiency may last no more than one year.
