30 hours applies to active therapeutic optometrists; nontherapeutic optometrists need 12 hours. Note: older statutory text (24 Del.C. §2121) references 12+12 hours for therapeutic licensees, but the Board's current CE page (Board Rule §4.0) requires 30 hours total with 20 in therapeutics/ocular disease management — the current Board figure is used here. Max 6 hours of practice management per cycle. All hours may be obtained online. Current adult and child CPR certification required (in addition to CE hours).
