Attest at registration; conditional registration is available for CE deficiency. Licensees must maintain CE documentation for six years and are subject to NYSED audit.

36 hours of acceptable continuing education per triennial registration period; at least 18 hours in courses of learning, no more than 18 hours in other educational activities, and at least 1 hour in professional ethics. No more than 6 hours taken in one triennium may transfer to the next. A licensee who has not satisfied the requirement is not issued a triennial registration and may not practice unless a conditional registration (not more than one year) is issued.
