The Board FAQ states there is no extension of the renewal deadline.

The North Dakota Board of Nursing requires all nursing license renewals to complete 12 contact hours of continuing education in the preceding two years. APRNs with prescriptive authority must complete 15 hours of pharmacotherapy related to scope of practice; those 15 hours also fulfill the 12-hour RN renewal requirement. APRNs must maintain national certification and an active RN license. Renewal is every two years, due by December 31 of the second year (licensees are assigned cohorts, so no single even/odd parity). Note on national certification: In addition to state renewal requirements, CRNAs must maintain national certification/recertification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). The NBCRNA mandates 60 Class A credits, 40 Class B credits, Core Modules, and 850 hours of clinical practice every 4 years to maintain certification.
