Renewal online via the Board's website (RN and APRN); the Board must receive certification verification directly from the certifying body when certification is renewed.

Verified on the official Minnesota Board of Nursing APRN renewal page: there is no additional APRN CE — maintaining current national certification in the role and population for which the licensee is licensed, with verification sent directly to the Board by the certifying body, plus a current Minnesota RN license, is the renewal basis. Current role/population certification satisfies the underlying RN requirement (24 contact hours per 24 months). RN and APRN registrations expire on the last day of the birth month in an odd or even year depending on the birth year, so deadlineParity is null (follows the individual's birth year). Both the RN and APRN registrations must be renewed (online, $85 APRN fee).
