Portfolio documentation; retain records for the current and previous cycle for audit.

25 hours per biennial cycle under Minn. R. 3100.5100: at least 15 hours fundamental activities (directly related to clinical dental services to patients), no more than 10 hours elective; an infection-control course primarily addressing patient safety is mandatory each cycle; CPR certification must be continuously maintained. Hours are credited hour-for-hour and excess hours may not be carried forward. Renewal is biennial, by the last day of the licensee's birth month in the even- or odd-numbered year matching the licensee's year of birth.
