Details

Minnesota separately licenses CRNAs as APRNs. The Board's APRN licensure page states that current national APRN certification on file with the Board satisfies the CE requirement; there is no additional hour-based state APRN CE. Renewal-year parity follows the licensee's birth year (Board example: born July 1975 renews July 2015); parity is licensee-specific, so the parity field is left null. National track (all states): NBCRNA Continued Professional Certification (CPC), now branded MAC (Maintaining Anesthesia Certification), requires 60 Class A (MAC Ed, assessed/prior-approved CE) + 40 Class B (MAC Dev, professional development) credits per 4-year cycle, plus quarterly MAC Check knowledge checks and 2-year check-ins.
