Details

40 CME hours per 2-year cycle with at least 34 ACCME Category 1 hours (R156-70a-304). Current NCCPA certification provided to DOPL fulfills the CME requirement. Renewal page also requires one of the DOPL suicide-prevention online trainings (0.5 credit each, counts toward the 40). Controlled-substance licensees need 3.5 hours of DOPL-approved CS CE per renewal (UCA 58-37-6.5, R156-37-402); plus a one-time 3.5-hr SBIRT training for licensing periods starting after 1/1/2024 (reported in CE summaries; confirm in rule). PAs specializing in mental health care must maintain their CAQ in psychiatry. Attestation model — do not submit documentation unless audited.
