Details

Alaska prescribes no independent state CME hour total. Under 12 AAC 40.470, biennial renewal requires documented evidence that the PA has met the NCCPA's CME and recertification requirements and remains currently certified; the 100/2 figure is the NCCPA requirement, indirect via state incorporation. A proposed two-hour pain/opioid/addiction CE provision was not adopted and does not appear in the current regulation.
