Per the latest verifiable official rule text (2011 amendment to R156-3a-304): 16 hours of qualified professional education per two-year period; maximum 8 hours carryforward; licensees licensed less than 2 years complete a pro-rata 1.34 hours per month; records retained 4 years; licensees who miss CE must complete double the missed hours. AIA and CE-provider sources report the Board now requires 24 HSW hours (min 12/year) - a later amendment is likely but was not verified in official text.
