24 hours biennially in scope-of-practice-specific offerings (1 CE hour per hour completed); teaching/clinical supervision in APTA-approved programs capped at 3 hours per cycle. PTs initially licensed after the May 1 renewal date are exempt until the next renewal cycle; a 6-month hardship extension is possible.
