30 CCUs every 2 years. First renewal: 0 CCUs if the license was issued less than 12 months before renewal; 15 CCUs if issued more than 12 months before renewal. CE records must be retained 7 years and the Board may conduct random audits. Failure to complete the required CCUs prevents renewal. Mandatory topics: 24 hours practice/patient management; 2 hours Hawaii ethics, laws, and rules; 4 hours life support
