20 hours each year; the license renews annually in the licensee's birth month. CE hours do not carry over; first-time renewals are exempt. Beginning January 1, 2026, 2 hours of ethics/jurisprudence are required at the first CE-required renewal and at least once every 2 years thereafter. Mandatory topics: 2 hours ethics and jurisprudence at the first CE-required renewal on/after January 1, 2026, and at least once every 2 years thereafter (PA 25-97)
