Grace period
A lapsed PA license may still be practiced on for 45 days after October 31; after that it is expired and cannot be practiced on; if not renewed within two years it terminates.

Montana imposes no hour-based continuing education requirement for physician assistant license renewal, so totalHours is 0. Per a current CE-tracking source, Montana repealed the rule requiring PAs to maintain current NCCPA certification for license renewal effective 2017 - neither CE hours nor NCCPA certification is currently required for PA renewal.
