Minn. Stat. 147A.24: at renewal, a PA must hold current NCCPA certification OR have completed at least 50 contact hours of Category I-equivalent CE during the two years immediately preceding renewal. There are no mandated topic sub-hours in the statute. Third-party pages variously report October 31 or June 30 deadlines, but the official statute (147A.29) controls: annual renewal on the last day of the birth month. NCCPA certification is an alternative to the 50 hours, not an added requirement.
