Michigan requires 25 contact hours per biennial period for LPNs, including 2 hours on pain and pain symptom management and 1 hour of implicit bias per license year, plus a one-time human trafficking identification training. No more than 12 CE hours may be earned in a single 24-hour period. CE applies to nurses who held the license for the 2-year period preceding renewal.
