Confirmed per Maine Board of Optometry CE page (new rules eff. 2/2/2025): 25 hrs approved CE per year. At least 15 hrs must pertain to diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease for holders of an advanced therapeutic license. Maximum 2 hrs practice management per year. Each renewal period, up to 5 carryover credit hours may be applied to the following period (Chapter 1 Sec. 3(5)). COPE/AAO/AMA/ACPE Category I courses accepted without prior Board review.
