Licensee submits evidence of completed CE hours to the board upon renewal (32 MRS section 224-B(1)).

32 MRS section 224-B (PL 2025, c. 318) makes at least 12 hours of approved health, safety and welfare continuing education each year a condition of renewal beginning July 1, 2026. Architects holding an initial license from any jurisdiction are exempt for 2 years from issuance unless previously licensed 2+ years anywhere. The same course, program, or activity may not be repeated for credit within a renewal cycle.
