Renewal: LPN, RN, and APRN renewal applications and fees must be dated no later than August 31 of the renewal year; the APRN license renews every two years per Idaho Code 54-1411, expiring August 31 of odd-numbered years (IDAPA 24.34.01.100.02.c, 100.11).

Details

Idaho licenses the CRNA as an APRN (IDAPA 24.34.01.002.08). APRN renewal requires: (1) a current Idaho RN license or privilege to practice, (2) current national APRN certification from a Board-recognized organization, and (3) evidence of participation in an acceptable peer review process. No fixed state CE-hour total exists in the current rule; outdated 30-hour CE claims found on third-party sites were rejected against the current IDAPA text. National track (all states): NBCRNA Continued Professional Certification (CPC), now branded MAC (Maintaining Anesthesia Certification), requires 60 Class A (MAC Ed, assessed/prior-approved CE) + 40 Class B (MAC Dev, professional development) credits per 4-year cycle, plus quarterly MAC Check knowledge checks and 2-year check-ins. Excess Class A credits may count toward Class B. A practicing CRNA must satisfy BOTH the NBCRNA program and the state license requirement above.
