24 approved hours for each two-year license period, with up to 24 excess hours carried forward (Act 147 of 2002, §608-A). Act 142 of 2024 (effective April 29, 2025) adds 3 hours of ethics for all resident producers and 2 hours of flood training for property/casualty and personal-lines licensees, whether or not they sell flood; existing licensees complete the new requirements within 12 months or by the end of the current license period, whichever is longer.
