4-hour Law & Ethics Update course every 2 years plus electives per §626.2815: 20 elective hours for producers licensed under 6 years (24 total), 16 elective hours for producers licensed 6+ years (20 total), and 6 elective hours (10 total) for qualifying 25-year licensees holding a CLU/CPCU designation or a risk-management degree. Excess hours carry forward to the next compliance period. CE is due by the end of the birth month per DFS guidance.
