Oklahoma Dental Hygiene CE requirements

Renewal: Biennial CE period runs July 1 through June 30 of the renewal year (e.g., 7/1/2023-6/30/2025); CE must be reported online no later than June 30 at the end of the two-year reporting period (OAC 195:25-1-8). New graduates are exempt the first year after graduation and begin CE July 1 of the calendar year following graduation, prorated by year of licensure.

20 hours per two-year reporting period under 59 O.S. 328.41 (Board CE statute) and OAC 195:25-1-8, with no more than 10 (50%) hours online; interactive classes/webinars may count as in-person at the Board's discretion. CE is reported on the Board's online licensing system no later than June 30 at the end of the period, with random audits. The Board's renewal form also requires a BLS course (in-person; online-only CPR not accepted) and an ethics course. New graduates are exempt the first year after graduation; CE begins July 1 of the calendar year following graduation, prorated by year of licensure.
