20 hours per two-year period under 17 DCMR Chapter 43 §4306.5 (published 4/9/2021): current CPR certification for healthcare providers at the basic level, 2 hours infection control, 1 hour ethics (approved program), 2 hours cultural competency/LGBTQ clinical training (D.C. Official Code §3-1205.10(b)(5)), and at least 10% (2 hours) in public-health-priority subjects designated by the Director at least every 5 years. Does not apply to initial licensees or the first renewal by examination (§4306.2).
