Nevada requires 30 nursing-related contact hours per renewal cycle for LPNs, including at least 2 hours on cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion. A one-time 4-hour bioterrorism course is also required. Per NRS 632.343, the licensee is exempt from the 30-hour requirement for the first biennial period after graduation. RN and LPN requirements are the same.
