North Dakota requires 12 contact hours of CE in the preceding two years plus 400 practice hours in the preceding four years. Per the official Board renewal page, an applicant obtaining initial RN or LPN licensure by examination needs no additional CE before the first renewal; refresher-course completers and recent graduates may also be exempt from the practice-hours component.
