Massachusetts requires 15 contact hours per biennium for LPNs, including mandatory domestic and sexual violence training for which the Board specifies no hour amount. Nurses renewing for the first time are exempt from the 15-hour requirement. Only contact hours earned within the two years before the renewal date count.
