Details

Kentucky requires 100 hours of approved CME every 2 years for PA license renewal. Per KBML's official PA renewal notice, PAs authorized to prescribe Schedule III–V controlled substances must complete 7.5 hours of board-approved CE on controlled-substance prescribing during the prior 2 years (conditional on DEA/prescribing authority; counts within the 100 hours). One-time (not recurring) requirements also exist: 1.5 hours of pediatric abusive head trauma training and 1 hour of Alzheimer/dementia training. No NCCPA-certification interplay was found in the located board materials; the requirement is a direct state hour rule.
