Details

Per K.A.R. 100-28a-5, each PA must submit with the renewal application one of: (1) at least 50 CE credit hours during the preceding year, including at least 20 Category I and at least 1 Category III hour; (2) at least 100 CE credit hours during the preceding two-year period, including at least 40 Category I and at least 2 Category III hours; or (3) equivalent hours from a national/state/local organization with standards at least as stringent as the Board's. Category I/III are credit classifications, not topical sub-hours, so no categories are recorded. K.S.A. 65-28a03(c) gives a 30-day late-renewal window after the renewal date before the license is deemed canceled. UNCONFIRMED: the exact annual renewal date, and any pending revision (the KSBHA PA Council discussed revising K.A.R. 100-28a-5 in August 2025).
