Report hours via Indiana PLA online renewal (mylicense.in.gov); Board audits

Confirmed: 20 hrs CE required per biennial renewal period per 852 IAC 1-16-1(a). Optional (not required): up to 2 hrs of the 20 may be medical charting, billing/coding, or healthcare compliance. Self-study limited to 10 hrs biennially (852 IAC 1-16-7(c); IN PLA licensing page). Separate optometric legend drug certificate also requires 20 hrs, not double-counted with license CE. CE must be earned within the biennial period; no carryover; duplicate courses count once.
