None; CE posted after December 31 is assessed a late fee regardless of reason.

CE must be posted on the OE Tracker website by December 31; every submission is audited. Board-approved sponsors include COPE, AOA, American Academy of Optometry, optometry schools, and ACCME (approved Jan. 25, 2024). Statute 33-23-114 allows waiver for certified illness or undue hardship. DEA-registered practitioners should note the federal one-time 8-hour MATE training requirement referenced on the Board page.
