sign statement certifying completion at renewal; submit certificates if audited
Grace period
None confirmed; an optometrist who fails to meet CE by the renewal date may not practice until the certificate is renewed under late-renewal rule Opt 7.05.

Biennium = 2-year period beginning December 16 of odd-numbered years. First renewal: no CE if licensed 1 year or less; 15 hours (min 5 in person) if licensed more than 1 year and less than 2 years. Renewal requires signing a statement certifying completion; submit certificates if audited.
