Representative baseline is for MDs (Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision): 60 hours of Category 1 CME every three years, with a conditional 1 hour per year of pain-management or opioid-use/addiction education for DEA registrants, per OAC 435:10-15-1 and the board handbook. DOs (Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners) are on a different structure: 16 hours annually of AOA Category 1-A/1-B with 1 hour per year on controlled-substance prescribing for DEA registrants, renewed June 30.
