Confirmed against the NY DOS continuing-education requirements effective for licenses expiring on or after 9/21/2022 (published by NYSCAR): 22.5 hours per 2-year term including at least 2 hrs cultural competency, 2 hrs implicit bias, 2.5 hrs ethical business practices, 1 hr recent legal matters, 3 hrs fair housing/discrimination, and 1 hr law of agency (2 hrs agency on the salesperson's initial term). All 22.5 hours must be completed before the license expires; renewal runs through eAccessNY on the license anniversary. Attorneys admitted to the NY bar holding a broker license remain exempt.
