Renewal: Salesperson licenses expire May 31 of even-numbered years; CE must be completed by February 28 of the renewal year, three months before the renewal deadline (the published CE window for the current cycle is March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2028).

Confirmed against the CT DCP Real Estate Salesperson Continuing Education page: 12 credit hours per two-year cycle — one 3-hour mandatory course (currently ‘2028 CT REAL ESTATE LICENSE LAW’) plus 9 hours of real estate electives. Licensees may alternatively pass the 40-question Connecticut CE exam during the cycle. CE is required even for reciprocal licensees; no CE is due for those who passed the CT licensing exam between March 1, 2026 and February 28, 2028. Late completion draws $315–$625 fees and possible discipline.
