30 hours per two-year CE period (January 1 through December 31 of the two years preceding the renewal year) under COMAR 10.44.22: a single 3-hour Board-approved infection-control course is required as a condition of renewal (increased from 2 hours effective March 3, 2025); current CPR must be maintained but earns no CE credit; a 2-hour Board-approved abuse/neglect course on Maryland law is required every other renewal cycle and counts toward the 30. Licenses renew biennially with a June 30 deadline.
