12 HSW Learning Units during each of the two calendar years preceding the calendar year in which the license expires; the Board accepts 24 total LUs if the yearly split is missed (may affect reciprocity elsewhere). All LUs must be in HSW subjects. No carryforward of excess LUs. Licensees renewing for the first time after initial licensure are exempt. Records maintained at least 2 years; random audits each term.
