Verified against the official WV CSR 15-3 rule filing (Secretary of State, authorized by 2024 HB 4145): section 15-3-4.1 - a licensed pharmacist must complete a minimum of 30 CPE hours every two years to renew, inclusive of any CPE requirements for consultant pharmacist registration, pharmacist immunization registration, and drug diversion training and best-practice prescribing of controlled substances training; section 15-3-4.2 - hours may not be transferred or applied to future reporting periods (no carryover); section 15-3-4.3 - 6 of the 30 hours must be obtained through a live presentation requiring the direct presence of the pharmacist; section 15-3-4.4 - every pharmacist who dispenses controlled substances must complete a minimum of 2 hours of drug diversion training and best-practice prescribing of controlled substances training within one year of receiving the initial license (a pharmacist who does not dispense controlled substances is exempt). The reporting period runs July 1 through June 30 two years later with renewal due June 30 of odd-numbered years; provider summaries of Board materials (Elite, NetCE) consistently report 2 immunization hours per year for immunization-registration holders and 3 consulting-practice hours per year for participating consultant pharmacists, consistent with the 'inclusive' language of section 15-3-4.1.
