Renewal: Renewal is biennial; license expires on the last day of the licensee's birth month. The 40 hours must be completed during the 24 months preceding the renewal month.

Reporting
retain proof of CE; submit evidence within 30 days if requested
Grace period
None confirmed. Board policy allows a 90-day corrective period only after a CE deficiency letter is issued; this is an enforcement corrective action, not a renewal grace period.

Retain proof of CE for 4 years and provide evidence within 30 days if requested. Board may waive or extend requirements for documented hardship requested in writing. Current CPR certification required in addition to the 40 hours.
