Indiana uses native Professional Growth Plan (PGP) points: 90 points per license term (five- or ten-year licenses; modeled here on the five-year license). Point equivalencies: 1 clock hour = 1 point; 1 semester hour = 15 points. totalHours is preserved as 90 points, not converted. Added 2026-09-30: IC 20-28-3-6 requires a minimum of 2 hours of youth suicide awareness/prevention training every three school years for teachers in schools with grades 5–12 and listed staff; counts toward professional development (IDOE required-trainings memo).
