24 contact hours per two-year cycle, including 2 hours LGBTQ cultural competency and 2.5 hours in DC Health public-health-priority topics (10% rule; 2026 renewal notice states 2.5 hours). CE must be completed within the renewal cycle (e.g. July 1, 2024–June 30, 2026). All renewals require CE except first-time renewals.
