Wyoming Physician Assistant (PA) CE category requirements

Per the Board's PA rule (Ch. rules section 21, quoted in the legislature's interim committee memo): to renew, a PA verifies (i) continued NCCPA maintenance-of-certification participation including at least 60 CME credits in the preceding 3 calendar years, (ii) completion of at least 60 CME hours in the preceding 3 calendar years, or (iii)/(iv) qualifying volunteer-service CME. NCCPA certification/recertification within the past 3 years as of renewal exempts the PA from the CME requirement. The renewal application is due December 31 each year per the Board rule text quoted in the legislature's memo, with a grace-period renewal window through March 31. UNCONFIRMED: the 1-hour responsible-controlled-substance-prescribing sub-requirement (reported in Board-oriented summaries as effective July 1, 2019, every 2 years for PAs authorized to prescribe controlled substances; not independently verified in rule text - confirm with the Board).
