Details
West Virginia statute requires, within five years of the certificate becoming valid, six semester hours of approved credit (with a 3.0 GPA on renewal coursework), a beginning-teacher internship if applicable, and a superintendent recommendation. Renewal coursework may instead be satisfied by holding an MA+30 salary classification or being age 60 or older. Native unit is semester hours.
