Colorado uses native contact hours: 90 contact hours (or 6 semester hours) per seven years. The 10-hour specified-learning distribution, including the 1-hour behavioral-health and 1-hour students-with-disabilities minimums, applies to licenses expiring on or after June 30, 2025. A one-time 45-hour culturally and linguistically diverse education requirement applies to some endorsement holders from September 1, 2025; see the official source.
