West Virginia RNs need 12 contact hours of Board-approved CE per biennial cycle. Newly licensed RNs must also complete a one-time 3-hour drug diversion and safe prescribing course within the first year. LPNs materially differ: 24 contact hours plus 400 work hours per biennium.
