48 hours every 2 years (24 formal AMA Category 1 / AOA Category 1A; 24 informal); no CME required for the first renewal; ABMS board certification/recertification within the preceding 36 months exempts; CE Broker mandatory tracking from 2026-09-01. Nutrition/metabolic-health CME rulemaking (2025 SB 25) is pending and not encoded. Biennial renewal on the initial-licensure anniversary.
